About Us

Bryon Funnell retired in 2010 from the Delta Fire Department. He served the residents of Delta for 35 years. During his career he had the opportunity to further his education for the management team, rising through the ranks to Deputy Fire Chief in charge of Fire Prevention matters. In that position, he was instrumental in the development of the Burn’s Bog Management Plan that included access routs throughout the area, water sources, damage mediation and fire suppression with an emphasis on the recovery of Burn’s Bog.

The President and Founder of Sure Word Ministries (SWM), a Christian Not-for-Profit organization in Vancouver that actively provides support to needy people in the community. He has previously co-pastored House On The Word Church in Houston, Texas, for about 7 years. He is also the North American Coordinator of the Macedonian Initiative, an organization dedicated to the support and advocacy for Christians in crisis and terror zones. He holds a BA in Counseling and MA in leadership and continues to speak at conferences across Europe, Africa and North America.

Tubosoye Monday Brown is a litigator who has had the privilege of practicing law across 2 oceans, 3 continents and 4 commonwealth jurisdictions: Nigeria, Botswana, the Mashall Islands (and American jurisdiction where he was Chief Prosecutor and Acting Attorney General) and Canada. Soye is a community builder and change agent. He is the current president of the Nigeria-Canada Association of British Columbia and also sits on the board of other charities and not-for-profit organizations.

A clergy, strategic thinker, security expert, conflict resolution consultant and statesman. Trained as an Architect (MSc. Hons), he has served in mission fields across different continents. He is a regular conference speaker across African nations, Europe and the US having presented a paper in the US Congress Auditorium on the Omoluabi Matrix as an alternative dispute resolution tool in counter-terrorism. He has authored several theological and motivational books including a best-seller, Decoding Dreams.

Solomon is a staunch advocate of diversity and inclusion, strategically involved in providing support and advocacy for grassroots and minority groups. He currently serves on the board and management team and board of several charities and not-for-profit organizations.
